Sheridan Maine is working in collaboration with a Hampshire based practice to recruit a Lead Bookkeeper/Accountant.  This is a newly created position that will lead a team of bookkeepers and accountants. 
 
The role would ideally suit someone who is studying towards their accountancy qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA) or even newly qualified and is an exciting opportunity to develop one’s skills and see good career growth.  The company offer study support if required.
 
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/Accountant will include:

• Manage, coach and develop the team
• Lead on the day-to-day provision of bookkeeping and accounting work
• Review of the bookkeeping carried out by the client
• Assist with accruals and prepayments
• Assist with maintaining fixed asset registers
• Assist with VAT returns
• Payroll duties
