Sheridan Maine is thrilled to be working exclusively with a fantastic media company in London. They are currently looking to appoint a part-time Financial Controller who will manage the whole finance function for an exciting new subsidiary. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FC to join a very exciting business and add value from the off.

This is a Part time role - 3 days/ 22.5 hours per week flexible working across minimum 4 days (must be available to set up or approve payments 5 days a week)
 
Duties and responsibilities of the Financial Controller include:

• Manage robust month end process with management accounts delivered to Group Finance by WD6, whilst prepare monthly pack for board meeting
• Manage and develop 1-2 junior members of staff
• Produce value added management info including monthly gross profit analysis, and analysis of sales by type of work
• Produce VAT returns and liaise with pension provider
• Ensure journal postings continue to have good descriptions and job-related postings can be identified (Sage)
• Manage monthly payroll (outsourced), customer invoicing (delegate to AP)
• Supplier and Provider management including banks and customers
• Assist with developing forecasting and annual budgeting process
• Ad hoc project work including, but not limited to PO system implementation and setup of new bank provider

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Experience of being Financial Controller or equivalent working in SME’s
• Management experience
• Sage 50 ideal
• Excellent Excel skills
