We’re delighted to be partnering with a well known organisation to recruit a Finance Manager into their busy team based in Poole.  This key role will take responsibility of the day-to-day management of the Finance department ensuring timely and accurate reporting is provided.
 
This Finance Manager is an integral role ensuring finance provides timely & accurate reporting.  It will involve taking responsibility of the day to day management of the Finance team, leading the annual audit process & ensuring tight financial controls across the board. 

You will need to build strong relationships with senior managers and stakeholders across the business, providing timely reporting and insight to ensure they have the information required for effective decision making.  

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, business partnering with internal stakeholders and would suit a qualified accountant looking for more responsibility in a thriving business. The company operates a hybrid working policy, with 2-3 days a week in the office, the rest worked from home.
 
Duties of the Finance Manager will include but are not limited to:

  • Management and leadership of the finance function
  • Responsible for the financial ledgers and accounting processes
  • Work closely with the Manufacturing Finance Business Partner and Production Managers to support production team spend forecasts
  • Review of all balance sheet control and reconciliations
  • Assisting the Management Accountant in the delivery of monthly management accounts
  • Responsible for the training and development of the team
  • Liaising with Finance Business Partners regarding budgets
  • Review, update and improve the current processes and controls
  • Provide support to external auditors when required
  • Review large payment runs
  • Oversee the payroll function
To be considered for the role of Finance Manager, the following skills/experience are required:
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Experience in a senior finance role and managing a team
  • Comfortable with senior stakeholder management
