We’re proud to collaborate with a global organisation to assist with their search for a Senior Finance Assistant.  This is a newly created and varied role that will support and oversee a range of finance processes.
 
Our client is seeking candidates with a willingness to learn and develop in a start-up environment.  This position could suit part-qualified/studiers towards qualification (CIMA/ACCA) – study support is available.

Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Assistant include:

• Own the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactional processes end to end
• Process a high volume of supplier invoices and credit notes
• Process staff expenses and review
• Responsible for the payment runs, including multi-currency
• Deal with supplier and customer queries
• Posting of supplier bank payments and customer receipts
• Ownership of all bank and credit card reconciliations
• Responsible for the billing process, ensuring that customer contracts are billed correctly
• Responsible for Credit Control processes
• Assist with Month end reporting
• Assist in developing and improving existing systems and internal controls
• Assist with VAT and tax filings

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar finance role
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
