Job Details

Due to company growth and expansion, a newly created position has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a leading business in the North Hampshire area. This rare opportunity would suit an individual who is currently studying or commencing their CIMA or ACCA qualification and keen to broaden their skills and knowledge.
 
Working with the Finance Manager, the role will be involved with the following activities:

  • Producing management accounts
  • Providing variance analysis and commentary
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepayment and accruals
  • Posting journals
  • Assist with year end audit
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Support the team with accounts payable and receivable duties
  • Produce key financial reports for head office

The position will be a vital role within the finance team, supporting the business and various departments with financial reporting requirements and analysis. It is essential to have intermediate level IT skills including working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups) and the initiative to help improve systems and reporting. It is also important to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team or on your own.
 
Candidates who are late stage studier of AAT or early stage CIMA/ ACCA will all be considered.

The company will offer study support (additional leave and financial), 33 days holiday(inc bank holidays), car parking, pension and flexible working hours.
