Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading organisation based in central Bournemouth to recruit for an experienced, motivated and proactive Assistant Management Accountant.
This role will offer a hybrid working pattern - 3 days in their Bournemouth office and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:
Produce monthly management accounts, highlighting key variances
Prepare and monitoring budgets
Perform financial planning and analysis
Prepare, input and record monthly journals and reports
Monitor actuals and performance against budgets / forecasts on a continuing basis
Provide on going support to the senior leadership team
Competencies required for the role of Assistant Management Accountant:
Experience of working in a similar Assistant Accountant position
Ability to ‘time manage’ and work well in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate Excel knowledge with the ability to use complex spreadsheets
Motivated and proactive with the ability to communicate figures to non-finance staff
