Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working exclusively with an exciting and energetic events and arts business in central Bristol. 

We are looking for someone who can assist the Head of Finance with the daily bookkeeping of the business, whilst also keeping everything office related in working order. This role is offered on a part time basis, covering 32 hours a week over 4 days and the salary shown on offer is a full time equivalent. 

Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:

  • Invoice and PO processing 
  • Keeping track of credit and debit cards 
  • Bank reconciliations 
  • Day-to-day office management 
  • Payment runs 
  • Ordering of office stock and looking after utilities and maintenance 
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with other finance related tasks 
The successful Finance Assistant will require the following attributes:
  • A hard working attitude and attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask and use own initiative 
  • Good communicator 
  • A finance or bookkeeping background would be great
