Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a globally renowned company based in east Bristol to recruit a Finance Manager. This position would suit a candidate with a good working knowledge of SAP and its modules. A recognised accountancy qualification is desired, but not essential.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
Manage, support and develop a team
Provide an effective and efficient service regarding payment processing, bank statement postings, allocation journals, expense accruals, car leasing costs, and monthly payroll journals
Oversee the revaluing AR, AP and Bank balances each month end
Ensure the monthly management accounts are completed accurately and timely
Review all Balance Sheet reconciliations
Completion and submission of VAT returns, and liaising with external advisors
SOX compliance and review of monthly SOX controls
Assist with preparation of the budget
Responsible for GL team KPIs and their timely submissions
Manage operational procedures readiness and controls and process changes
Continuous review of processes and procedures, and recommend standardising wherever possible
To be considered as Finance Manager, you will require the following attributes:
Good working knowledge of SAP and modules
Understanding of internal controls and SOX requirement
Excellent team leader skills
