Sheridan Maine is currently partnering with an international organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant.    This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently studying towards their accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation and achieve a rewarding career.
 
The company operate a hybrid working policy with most people required to work at the Eastleigh based office once or twice a week.
 
Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will include:

• Month end closing processes
• Various areas of financial reporting including Group and Tax Reporting
• Validating balance sheet entries
• Preparation of financial information for stakeholders
• Build and maintain good business relationships
• Supporting the wider finance team when required

• The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Experience using Oracle’s E1 and IBM’s Cognos TM1
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work flexibly around month end and year end
