Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a leading, private equity backed organisation that is seeking a technically minded qualified accountant (ACA) to join its team as Technical & Group Accounting Controller.
The role is predominantly home based with some travel to London required approximately once a fortnight.
Responsibilities of the Technical & Group Accounting Controller will include:
Investment entity accounting for one of the Group’s entities
Maintaining the books and records of the entity
General ledger postings
Preparation of annual statutory accounts
Assisting the Technical Accounting Advisory team as required
The successful Technical & Group Accounting Controller will require the following skills and experience:
Strong technical accounting skills with good knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102, FRS 101
Significant post qualified experience
Functional knowledge of regulatory, tax, legal and accounting matters, and ideally valuations or investment entity accounting
Strong stakeholder liaison skills
