Excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing business, based on the South Coast close to the Portsmouth area. The organisation operates a hybrid working policy so would be looking for between 2-3 days onsite per week with rest worked from home. They offer a positive and sociable team working culture.

The organisation is seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team of accountants dealing with investment funds. Reporting to Associate Director level you will play a pivotal role in delivering a first-class accounting service to a range of clients in the Real Estate and Infrastructure asset sectors. This will include:

• Overview of all financial reporting and audit queries for a range of different fund/SPV accounts
• Reviewing all aspects of accounting matters including investor reports and ad hoc investor queries, statutory financial statements and ad hoc quarterly financial reports
• Take a lead role in relationship management with external clients to ensure that all reporting deadlines are met, as well as potentially attending client board meetings
• Mentor, manage and plan work schedules for a team of qualified and part qualified accountants

The successful candidate is likely to be a practice trained, Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 1+ years PQE, who is seeking career progression from a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager level role within a small to medium sized firm. However, a qualified accountant with specific experience of accounting for Private Equity funds would also be of high interest.
