Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established Financial Services business that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant/Analyst. Responsibilities of the Management Accountant/Analyst include but are not limited to:
Assisting in preparing the annual Business Plan
Projecting annual budgets and forecasts
Provision of financial analysis and modelling to develop scenario planning capability
Reviewing the planning and management accounting models and processes with a view to developing and improving them
Establishing and maintaining financial models and financial information for the company
Developing and testing spreadsheet models used within the financial management of the business
Providing support to the finance functions when required
Monthly preparation and consolidation of management accounts and Board level reporting
Building strong working relationships with the wider business, key stakeholders and external bodies
Liaison with external and internal auditors
Presenting and influencing senior leaders on Financial and Strategic development
Deputising for senior Finance leaders when requested
Provision of accurate reporting, enabling the analysis of options and make financial recommendations
Provide insight into business performance against competitor and industry trends
The successful Management Accountant/Analyst:
Nearly qualified or part qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Experience of a Management accounting function
Proven experience with financial analysis/ business planning and modelling to develop scenario planning capability
Experience of introducing new processes, systems and models
