Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established Financial Services business that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant/Analyst. Responsibilities of the Management Accountant/Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in preparing the annual Business Plan
  • Projecting annual budgets and forecasts
  • Provision of financial analysis and modelling to develop scenario planning capability
  • Reviewing the planning and management accounting models and processes with a view to developing and improving them
  • Establishing and maintaining financial models and financial information for the company
  • Developing and testing spreadsheet models used within the financial management of the business
  • Providing support to the finance functions when required
  • Monthly preparation and consolidation of management accounts and Board level reporting
  • Building strong working relationships with the wider business, key stakeholders and external bodies
  • Liaison with external and internal auditors
  • Presenting and influencing senior leaders on Financial and Strategic development
  • Deputising for senior Finance leaders when requested
  • Provision of accurate reporting, enabling the analysis of options and make financial recommendations
  • Provide insight into business performance against competitor and industry trends
 
The successful Management Accountant/Analyst:
  • Nearly qualified or part qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA
  • Experience of a Management accounting function
  • Proven experience with financial analysis/ business planning and modelling to develop scenario planning capability
  • Experience of introducing new processes, systems and models
