A fantastic opportunity to join this market leading, Hampshire based and branded business as Financial Controller. The role will be covering maternity leave on a 12–14 month fixed term contract basis. The organisation is seeking to hire a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience gained within an international FMCG focused business.
Reporting to the Divisional Head of Finance this is an internationally focused role dealing with c£150m sales across the globe, mainly via a 3rd party distributor network. With the assistance of a Management Accountant you will be responsible for all financial analysis and reporting for the division to provide commercial insight to aid decision making. There is a technical element to the position in terms of managing the P&L, balance sheet and key financial controls. Additionally, the role acts as the key commercial finance business partner to the sales team to maximise potential revenues.
The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with several years PQE gained in a commercial environment. Previous experience of the FMCG sector is a pre-requisite, for at least 18 months to 2 years, and experience of working in an internationally focused business would be a strong advantage.
