This growing and innovative service-related organisation is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to be based out of their Plymouth site. The role could be worked on a hybrid basis with approx 3/4 days week onsite. This is an immediate role initially on a fixed term contract basis for 3 months, although there may be an option to extend or for the position to develop into a temporary to permanent opportunity.
The Senior Finance Manager has overall financial responsibility for the all day to day accounting for the site with the support of a small team. The core responsibilities will include providing insightful management reporting to Head Office finance and managing budgeting and forecasting. Key to success is the ability to drive business performance and decision making through financial/scenario analysis and modelling to interpret and really understand the drivers and issues faced by the organisation. The ability to effectively business partner with senior operational stakeholders to drive required changes is also key to this position.
You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) likely with several years PQE. Experience in a commercial organisation or ideally a healthcare related sector would be ideal. The proven ability to proactively use business analysis to drive performance and strong IT systems (Excel) and reporting skills are also highly beneficial.
This is an immediate opportunity initially for a period of 3 months so you would need to be available to start asap.
