An established well-known organisation is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator for their Finance team based in central Bristol.  The position will control the monthly payroll process as well as provide cover for absences in the Finance department, providing support with purchase ledger, sales ledger and other finance related duties.
 
Working 18-21 hours per week, and on a hybrid working basis, the Payroll Administrator’s duties will include:

• Processing monthly payroll
• Making manual calculations and collating documents for processing
• Implementing tax and National Insurance calculations
• Liaising with HMRC
• Processing new starters and leavers
• Processing P45’s and P60’s
• Production of documents and reports for auditing purposes
• Responsible for the Payroll module of the Cascade HR System
• Running BACS and submitting other reports to HMRC
• Compiling maternity schedules and preparation of maternity letters
• Processing childcare voucher payments and other benefits
• Amending pension details in Cascade
• Producing pension report and processing pension payments
• Providing clear audit trails

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Finance experience – processing payments and maintaining financial records etc
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
