Sheridan Maine have an exclusive opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our well established client in Newbury. This is a permanent position that will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger and variety of other accounting duties.
Key tasks of the Accounts Assistant include:
Match invoices to purchase order numbers
Process expenses and petty cash
Reconcile supplier statements
Prepare the payment run (BACS and cheques)
Prepare and distribute the management accounts pack
Review timesheets and ensure they are correct
Post journals and conduct analysis where required
This is an excellent job opportunity that will allow you to take on a range of responsibilities and develop your accounting skills. Our client is seeking a self-starter that is able to work to deadlines and possesses excellent IT skills. You will need sound accounting knowledge and some relevant experience of working within a finance department.
The company are offering flexible working and have parking on site. AAT study support may be provided and full training for the right candidate.
