Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a global business to recruit a Management Accountant who will join their east Bristol based office on a hybrid working basis.  This position will suit a candidate who is ACMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified and who has experience of using SAP and other finance and consolidation systems.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Provision of Monthly Reporting Packs to the Directors and stakeholders, including explanations of variances to budget by cost centre for both revenue and capital expenditure
• Assist the team with the preparation and submission of the Monthly Management Reporting
• Cashflow forecasting and monthly foreign currency position reviews
• Management of the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Management of the Budget and Forecasting processes
• Regularly work with various functions, teams and management
• Outline, document and decide the internal allocation model of cost assignment
• Preparation of various reports and reporting packs
• Preparation of the interim and final Value Chain Model (VCM) model
• Managing the budget extracts
• Provision of the Tax Pack analysis

• Good understanding of the workings of a shared service finance function and large organisation
• Experience of delivering financial results to a demanding month end timetable including group reporting
• Experience of operating Internal controls in a SOx environment
