We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) to join a Bristol based business as a Management Accountant.  This position will suit a candidate with a minimum of two years’ experience ideally within a practice environment.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• To ensure compliance of core finance tasks under existing asset management agreements
• Preparation of management and statutory accounts
• Regular liaison with outsourced accountants and service providers on various projects
• Responsible for all of the development project SPV’s
• Ensure timely approval and payment of supplier invoices
• Responsible for debt covenant compliance reporting
• Deal with project company tax returns and monthly VAT returns
• Work with auditors and assist with requests
• Responsible for timely cash management (payments and revenue) of project companies
• Production of monitoring sheets including rolling forecasts when required
• Variance reporting vs. forecasts when required

• Demonstrate effective teamwork and close collaboration across functions
• Respond to changing requirements which may affect the working day
• Capable of planning effectively and then dealing with a number of different tasks at a time
