“Food glorious food!” Here’s a tasty prospect you can sink your teeth into. Our client is a fresh and exciting restaurant chain who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller into their team who will be based at their head office in London’s vibrant West End.

As a Financial Controller you will manage the performance and development of a small team including an Assistant Financial Controller and Finance Assistants.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the month end process, ensure reporting is timely and accurate
• Ensuring that bookkeeping is up to date/correct
• Maintenance of all balance sheets Fixed Asset register
• Ensure accurate sales and stock reconciliation
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and forecasting
• Overviewing suppliers and creditors accounts
• Preparing all year end schedules and reconciliation for audit
• Main point of contacts for auditors for any queries during the audit process
• Processing all necessary audit adjustments based on statutory accounts
• Submitting VAT returns for all companies in the group
• Dealing with any queries relating to PAYE and pension and overviewing hourly and monthly payroll
• Assisting with any queries for Corporation tax calculation
• Assisting with process implementation across the company
• Assisting with investment activities / building business models

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA or CA qualified otherwise substantial QBE in hospitality
• No more than 2 months’ notice
• Good systems & Excel experience (Aqilla bonus)
