A leading organisation based in the Greater Southampton area is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant on an initial 6 month contract basis - either as a day rate interim or on a fixed term contract basis.
Hybrid working is available with on average 3 days a week expected to be worked on site. The business is seeking to recruit someone who is available on short notice to start in the next 2-3 weeks.
The role be responsible for a range of accounting duties for a number of business units including financial management, reporting and analysis. This will include acting as a key member of the team supporting the Divisional Finance Director and the wider management team with key financial information and metrics. You will provide accurate and timely management accounts across several business areas and analyse numbers on a monthly basis to aid decision support.
The client is ideally seeking a Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with good core management accounting experience allied to strong systems skills, especially the ability to manipulate data in Excel. Experience of working within the manufacturing/production sectors is a preference, but not essential, as is exposure to larger, international business environments.
There is strong potential for a future permanent opportunity for the right individual.
