An excellent opportunity to join a fast growth organisation based near Portsmouth, on the South Coast! My client, is seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team dealing with investment funds. The organisation operates a hybrid working policy so would be looking for between 2 days onsite per week with rest worked from home.
Reporting to a Senior Manager this is a pivotal role in the organisation to co-ordinate, manage and develop a team of Part and Fully Qualified financial accountants to deliver a first class accounting services to range of corporate clients. You will take the lead in delivering to clients including potentially attending board meetings to deliver financial results and key metrics. You will also overview financial information to produce statutory financial statements, investor reports and to deal with ad hoc queries. There will be a need to partner with subject matter experts in relation to specific issues such as indirect tax as well as liaising to review and complete audit queries.
The successful candidate is likely to be a practice trained, Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) seeking career progression from an Assistant Manager / Manager level role within an audit firm. Or you may be someone who has financial services experience, ideally including experience of accounting for funds or investments and their associated structures - experience in the Real Assets/Property sector would be ideal.
