Sheridan Maine are proud to be working with a leading marketing firm based in central London who are recruiting a Group Financial Accountant.
 
The Group Financial Accountant  will focus on preparing the financial accounting of the Parent company cost centre and supporting the Group Finance Team on month and quarter-end reporting, including forecasts and annual budgets.  

Your responsibilities will include:

• GL management of company and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile Group intercompany recharges, cost accruals, prepayments, employee benefits and capitalization of Parent company costs
• Assist with group consolidation of 50+ legal entities whilst review and analysis month-end submissions for completeness and accuracy

• Assist with quarter-end reporting, quarterly rolling forecasts and annual budgets; 
• Process the monthly recharges for global costs 
• Support the AR, AP, P2P and PO divisions

• Reconcile and post credit card and payroll expenditure 
• Work with the commercial accountants to ensure costs are recognized correctly in the correct expense line 
• Prepare a weekly cash flow for treasury 

• ACA qualified ideally from practice background, newly qualified to 2 year’s PQE

• Robust character to work within strict and tight deadlines, and willingness to work longer hours when required
• Ability to work independently and co-ordinate with line managers 
• Demonstrates advanced excels and ability to work with large data sets
