Sheridan Maine are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join a entrepreneurial business based near Poole as Interim Financial Controller to support the business during the transition of an incoming Permanent Financial Controller. This role is based on site and is responsible for ensuring that all annual statutory accounts, management accounts, KPIs, forecasting, budgeting and other commercial financial analysis for the Company is produced for the Senior Leadership Team and the Parent Company.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Interim Financial Controller will work closely with the Senior Management Team while leading the finance team to manage the following key areas:
• Preparation of statutory accounts, Companies House submissions and VAT for all entities within the Group
• Review, commentary and submission of monthly Management Accounts to the Directors and Parent Company
• Responsible for compliance with all tax requirements such as VAT – UK and International, PAYE and Corporation Tax
• Responsible for ensuring all submissions to Companies House are submitted in a timely manner
• Preparation of the budgets and review of the monthly 12 month rolling forecast
• Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the finance team
• Treasury and cash flow management
• Overall responsibility for review of monthly payroll for the Company prior to submission to payroll bureau
