Sheridan Maine is proud to be working with a global leader in its field; a company that prides itself on its entrepreneurial spirit. They are currently looking for a Group Reporting Manager who will join their busy finance team based in central London.
Responsibilities of the Group Reporting Manager will include:
Ownership of the month-end management reporting cycle
Assist with FRS 102 to IFRS conversion project
Assist in the preparation of TopCo Annual Report and Group Consolidation
Regular balance sheet reviews and quality assurance
Prepare clear and concise technical accounting papers to support significant accounting judgements and estimates
Develop and maintain Group Accounting Policies Manual
Supporting the SAP implementation
Drive systemization and automation of Group Consolidation process
Operate and continuously improve key Group accounting processes and controls
Ownership of the Group FX translation process
Assist in standardising management accounting treatments across the Group
Assist in standardising and optimising Chart of Accounts across the Group
Assist the Operational Excellence and Digitization and Automation programmes
Management of the Group intercompany matrix
Own IFRS 16 lease accounting model and month end reporting (from FY22)
Manage local finance teams and auditors to deliver Group and Subsidiary audits by required deadlines
Ownership of capitalisation of hours process
Assist the Operational Excellence programme in the development of new policies and processes
Ad-hoc support of sub-consolidations
To be considered for the role of Group Reporting Manager, the following qualifications/attributes are required:
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Multi-currency group consolidation in large organisation
Expert in using group reporting and consolidation systems
Expert in using ERP system
Up to date IFRS knowledge including IFRS 15 and 16
