Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with one of the world's leading media groups. With offices in locations across the globe this is a great chance to join a world leader. They are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant who will join their team based in central London.
 
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:

• Preparation of accurate accounts and providing financial support to department management
• Provide timely and accurate management support and analysis, identifying key issues including deviations from annual and quarterly plan and recommending remedial action where necessary
• Assist with the forecasting for a range of departments
• Responsible for managing various intercompany accounts, transactions and reporting
• Assist with month end balance sheet work
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with the statutory accounts preparation and audit
• Management of one team member
• Provide financial and business expertise to other ad-hoc projects

• A first or 2:1 degree
• Newly Qualified ACA (or equivalent), with 1st time exam passes
• 3-5 years relevant accounting experience
