Sheridan Maine are working with a successful and growing business based in Bournemouth to recruit for a Payroll Assistant to join their busy team, who as a business, actively drive continuous professional development.
We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, professional and adaptable with excellent communication skills, along with experience working in a busy payroll position
This is a full-time office based role, key duties of the Payroll Assistant will include:
- Running weekly and monthly payrolls
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Processing statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP
- Processing new starter and leaver information
- Tracking absences
- Liaising with the HMRC and other outside agencies
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with previous payroll experience and a flexible approach to work
