Job Details
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a well established business in central Newbury. This position will be joining a friendly finance department playing a vital role in minimising aged debt for the business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, main tasks of the role include:
Actively chasing customers for payment
Working towards aged debt targets
Credit checking customers and setting credit limits
Sending out statement and invoices
Attending weekly review meetings
Escalating problem accounts and payment issues
Providing excellent customer service
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:
Prior Credit control / accounts receivable experience
Excellent communication skills
The ability to build rapport with customers
Competent IT skills
A highly organised and self motivated approach to work
