Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with a well established and respected Accountancy firm based near Christchurch, who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the business. This small, friendly and forward thinking Accountancy Practice require an experienced Accountant to help support the ongoing development of this established business. 

Working closely with the Director and other Accountants within the firm to offer a first class service to their diverse and longstanding client base. Preparing accounts and offering support for clients:

• Mixture of sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies
• Preparation will be from either source documents or client/our software packages 
• Review work completed by trainee; VAT workings and accounts to Trial Balance
• Liaising and building relationships with clients as appropriate
• Prepare management accounts, rental property accounts
• Prepare accounts for managing agents 
• Tax computations for approval
• Dividend calculations
• Tax work experience would also be an advantage

• Qualified (ACA,ACCA) Accountant, finalist or qualified by experience
• Personable and hard working individual
• Highly IT Literate, experience on Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc. would be an advantage
