Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing business to recruit a Management Accountant on an interim basis to cover a maternity leave. Based at the firm’s head office in central London, you will work with the Financial Reporting Manager on all management and statutory reporting of the Company.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
Preparation of various management accounts and provide commentary for presentation to key stakeholders
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Preparation of various reports and provide financial modelling as required
Preparation of the quarterly management charges and invoices
Assistance with preparation of year-end financial statements and tax schedules
Responsible for control and usage of the smoothing fund
Perform various reconciliations
Assist with Staff Pension Scheme work including the preparation of the year-end accounts
Attend various meetings
Continuously seek to identify ways of improving systems and processes and implement solutions
To be considered for the role of Management Accountant, you will require the following skills:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
Good knowledge of accounting standards and computerised accounting systems
A pro-active approach to teamwork
