A leading global client is seeking a driven and motivated Finance Manager to join their team. 
The successful Finance Manager will have the exciting opportunity to work on projects involving digitalisation & innovation, which is cutting edge! 

People management skills are essential as this role has 5 direct reports and you will report into the Financial Controller. 

An understanding/experience of warehouse/logisitcs operations is essential

Finance Manager  will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance team, managing the customer weekly/ monthly meetings as well as daily interaction with the Operations Director and General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of weekly accounts and KPIs
• Completion of month end accounts, balance sheets and other internal reports
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances to budgets / forecasts
• Management of site Finance functions and development of wider finance team
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice
• Work closely with Operations Managers in understanding key cost drivers of contract profitability
• Providing appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence key decisions
• Review key risks and identify potential risks
• Ensuring financial controls are robust and fit for purpose
• Supporting Financial Controller / Commercial teams

• Proven track record in a similar level role with experience of the above requirements
• Ability to influence key decision makers at all level
• Excellent knowledge of accounting processes and terminology
• People management experience and excellent communication skills
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA - preferred but not essential
