Job Details
A leading specialist technology business based near Southampton is recruiting an Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller managing the finances for a number of sites across the UK. It’s a broad role including ownership of the balance sheet and cost control.
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:-
Assisting with the monthly accounts production
Creation of sales invoices and entry into accounting system
Purchase ledger
Credit control
Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
The requirements for the Assistant Accountant are:-
AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA / ACCA (actively studying)
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
Previous experience in a similar assistant accountant or purchase ledger role
