Sheridan Maine are working on an exclusive basis with a successful and growing business based in Bournemouth to recruit for an Accounts Payable Assistant to work on a 12 month fixed term contract.
 
We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, professional and adaptable with excellent communication skills, along with experience working in a busy accounts payable role.   
 
This is a full-time office based role, key duties will include:
 

  • Inputting all purchase ledger invoices onto Sage
  • Ensuring the purchase ledger is effectively controlled and maintained
  • canning, inputting and coding purchase ledger invoices
  • Dealing with the general day to day purchase ledger queries which will include dealing with inter-company recharges and allocation of costs to cost centres
  • Credit card analysis and verification work, ensuring expenses are correctly accounted for and that receipts are fully returned on a timely basis.
  • Assisting with the weekly cheque and BACs run
  • Ensuring that the purchase ledger is effectively controlled and maintained
