A rare opportunity has arisen for an established international business based in Newbury who are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 18 month contract basis.
Working within a small and friendly team, the position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Preparation of management accounts packs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepayments & accruals
- Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Inventory analysis
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Capex reporting
- Fixed asset maintenance
- Posting payroll journals
- Production of financial and payroll reports
The successful candidate will have prior experience of management accounts and good IT skills including intermediate level Excel (formulas/ v-look ups/ sum ifs). It is essential to be highly organised and deadline driven, as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates who are qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT), part qualified or qualified by experience will all be considered.
