This role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk involves ensuring all legal procedures are complied with when checking invoices and expenses but also are accurate; using a variety of systems to do so. This role reports directly to the Bought Ledger Controller.
The responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger include:

  • Liaise with other teams regarding finance queries
  • Chase any missing purchase orders and make sure they are all valid
  • Ensuring all invoices and expenses are processed on time after reviewing them
  • Preparing invoices in the form of a spreadsheet
  • Regularly reconcile supplier statements and company credit cards
  • Maintaining the credibility the company has as good paymasters
The Purchase Leger Clerk will require the following attributes and skills:
  • ATT Preferred
  • Working knowledge with accounting systems
  • Previous experience working with SAP or Concur is an advantage
  • Proficient in Excel
