Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an award-winning hospitality firm that is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its team based in central London. The company offers a generous pay and benefits package and excellent career opportunities.

The successful candidate will be immediately available and have experience of working in a multi-site business. This position is a fixed term contract for 9 months and would ideally suit someone who is currently studying towards their Accountancy qualification.

As Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Recording sales in SAGE using information from the EPOS system
• Recording Petty Cash, VAT and Tronc
• Posting and reconciling card and cash takings
• Investigating variances and posting adjustments where required
• Raising ad-hoc invoices in SAGE
• Issuing VAT invoices for bookings
• Dealing with company card expenses
• Posting online revenue
• Preparing Tronc figures for payroll on a bi-weekly basis
• Reconciling staff loans
• Issuing annual travel cards
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Financial Controller or Head of Finance

To be considered for the role you will have:
• Experience working in a multi-site business, ideally F&B or retail
• Proven experience of building strong relationships with all departments
• Good Technical Knowledge and detailed driven
• Excellent communication sills
• A team player

You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
