Sheridan Maine are recruiting an analytical and detail orientated Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis to join a well-known market leading business who have been undergoing a period of expansion, with further plans for growth and acquisitions.
 
This role offers an excellent opportunity and career progression

Key responsibilities:
 

• Assist with the monthly management accounts process
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Variance analysis and monthly cost tracking
• Development of budgets and forecasts
• Assist with the year end process

The ideal candidate will be a committed team player, who is highly organised with the ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines and confident preparing and posting journals.  You should also have a proactive approach to work, evidence of excellent attention to detail with strong Excel skills.
