Sheridan Maine are partnering on an exclusive basis with a leading business to recruit for an Accounts Assistant with a strong commercial awareness to join their team and assist with the smooth day to day running of the department.
We are looking for someone who is AAT qualified (or near completion) to work closely with the Finance Manager in a fast paced dynamic, customer focussed environment. You will take ownership of the purchase and sales ledgers, maintain the daily cashflow and complete bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
- Bank reconciliations
- Daily cashflow maintenance
- Credit control
- Invoice processing
- Processing expense requests
- Raising sales invoices
- Assisting with VAT returns
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or near completion of the qualification, with experience in a similar role and strong Excel skills.
