Sheridan Maine are recruiting for an immediate start temporary position for a global organisation based in Basingstoke. The requirement for an Accounts Assistant is to support a friendly finance team during a period of change and may lead to a permanent opportunity.
Working closely with the Finance Manager the position will be responsible for a range of accounts receivable duties such as raising invoices, chasing payments and allocating funds to customer accounts. As well as this other duties may involve accounts payable invoicing, reconciliations and banking.
The successful candidate will have all round accounts experience who is familiar with all aspects of credit control/ accounts receivable. The desired candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to use Excel to a competent level.
The company are based in Basingstoke and will offer some hybrid working. Car parking is available on site.
