Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established organisation based in central London. They are currently looking for a proactive self-starter who can join their team as Interim Lead Accountant.   This position is a 6-month fixed term contract.
 
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will drive the financial close process and support day to day finance operations.  You will need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working with stakeholders both in Finance and across the wider business.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Drive the month end close process ensuring all transactions are appropriately recorded and general ledger accounts are reconciled with appropriate support
• Prepare management accounts
• Prepare and post month end accrual journals
• Prepare commentary and variance analysis
• Prepare multiple balance sheet reconciliations monthly
• Process intercompany charges and reconcile details with the appropriate counterparty
• Participate in other projects and assignments as required
• Assist with the monthly consolidation of results
• Assist with the implementation of KPIs and other initiatives
• Support ongoing enhancement of accounting processes
• Assist with internal and external audit requests

• Fully qualified Accountant
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Communicates effectively, concisely and accurately
• Experience working in a Global environment
