A FTSE listed organisation based near Southampton is recruiting a qualified Financial Accountant to own the cash forecasting across the business. Working as part of the Financial Control team the key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:-

• Owning and managing the end to end cash forecasting process and driving continuous improvement whilst managing key stakeholder relationships
• Being the Subject matter expert in cashflow forecasting and reporting, ensuring necessary controls are in place
• Collaborating with wider finance teams on accounting risk areas
• Reviewing balance sheet accounts and signing off
• Supporting the preparation and review of the statutory accounts and providing support to the external audit process

 
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a good understanding of financial accounting standards (IFRS) and experience in technical accounting roles or audit. The role is initially offered on a 16 month fixed term contract but there could be opportunities for the right candidate to take a permanent role in the organisation.
