Sheridan Maine are working exclusively in partnership with a growing and dynamic organisation based in Newbury who are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. 

Working with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Proactively chasing for payments 
  • Contacting customers via telephone and email
  • Arranging payment terms and plans
  • Liaising with the sales team to agree orders and shipments
  • Dealing with payment and invoice queries
  • Sending out copy invoices and statements
  • Aged debt reporting

The desired candidate will have the following skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior knowledge or experience of accounts receivable / sales ledger / credit control
  • Competent IT skills
  • Able to work well in a team and on own initiative
  • Self motivated and proactive

The position will be hybrid working between office and home and is available to start ASAP. The company are accessible by public transport and have free car parking onsite.
