An immediate opportunity to join a growing organisation based in South Hampshire, close to the Portsmouth area, on an interim basis initially for 3-6 months. The business is seeking to implement a Sarbanes-Oxley controls framework in order to comply with US regulations.
To be successful in your application you will need proven experience of being heavily involved in implementing SOX controls and ideally have post implementation exposure to operating these controls on a business as usual basis. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your ability to apply the controls framework commercially. There will be external support from specialist advisers to assist you with the project.
It is likely that you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant PQE however candidates with relevant experience who are Qualified by Experience would also be considered. The project will need to be predominantly site based so you will need to be able to be based in the client's offices for a minimum of 4 days per week. There is a potential for the assignment to be extended for longer than the initial period.
