Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established business based in the Malmesbury area.  They are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant into their small finance team.
 
Within this role, you will provide accounting and financial support to key members of the business, their support staff and other businesses.  You will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience and have the ability to work well on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• All banking procedures for relevant personal accounts, which includes overall responsibility for coordinating all payments via AP and managing balances between banks
• Produce detailed monthly personal cash flow analyses
• Support the preparation of the information and analysis for meetings including the production of personal accounts, analysis and forecasts
• Support the Tax Team by collating the data for business and personal tax returns
• Preparing full monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for the business
• Produce quarterly management packs for the businesses
• Produce statutory accounts for the business
• Provide oversight and review monthly management accounts, including commentary and analysis against budget
• Review and agree annual budgets and periodic forecasts prepared by business managers
• Ad hoc projects and tasks as and when they arise

• Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters in a professional manner
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Keen to suggest improvements to current ways of working
