Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a global organisation that is currently looking for a passionate Qualified Accountant with strong business partnering capabilities.
 
As Group Accountant, you will possess robust technical accounting skills and will have the drive and ambition to step into the Financial Reporting Manager role within the next 18 months.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the monthly reporting / forecasting for the finance function including up to date EBIT and cash forecasts with analysis vs budget to the Group Financial Controller
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and understanding of key accounts and working closely with other departments to obtain relevant information such as global rebates, payroll, recharges etc
• Supporting the Executive team to provide monthly cost centre analysis and work closely with them to understand key variances
• Provide ongoing support for the review of SOX across the business group, including overseeing the SOX audits performed in key sites across the Business Group

 
As highlighted above, this role presents a clear progression pathway to eventually step up and lead the Financial Reporting for the Group, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.
 
You should be a strong communicator, capable of understanding complex business structures and building relationships at a global scale.
 
To be successful in this role, you must have full ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications with hands on experience in the production of financial reports.
 
This position based in east Bristol, offers on-site parking, workplace flexibility and a healthy bonus.
