Excellent opportunity to join a fast growth organisation based near Portsmouth, on the South Coast, near the Sea! My client, is seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team of accountants dealing with Real Assets investment funds.
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager this is a pivotal role in the organisation to co-ordinate, manage and develop a team of Part and Fully Qualified financial accountants to deliver a first class accounting services to a range of corporate clients. You will take the lead in delivering to clients including potentially attending board meetings to deliver financial results and key metrics. You will also overview financial information to produce statutory financial statements, investor reports and to deal with ad hoc queries. There will be a need to partner with subject matter experts in relation to specific issues such as indirect tax as well as liaising to review and complete audit queries.
The successful candidate is likely to be a practice trained, Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 2-5 years PQE, seeking career progression from an Assistant Manager / Manager level role within an audit firm. Or you may be someone who has financial services experience, ideally including experience of accounting for funds or investments and their associated structures.
