Job Details
Due to continued growth, a leading organisation based in Wimborne are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant / Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month temporary basis but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role can either be full-time working from home or office based.
This role will support the Financial Controller and provide accurate management accounting services to the group by completing transactional finance tasks throughout the report period.
Key responsibilities:
Monthly overhead analysis
Accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliation
Posting the cash book transactions to the general ledgers – multicurrency GBP, Euro & USD
Fixed asset register
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Provide analysis or variances to budget and short term forecasts
To be considered you will be AAT qualified or studying towards the CIMA or ACCA qualification. The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills including intermediate Excel knowledge with the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
