A new and exclusive role has arisen for a growing business based in the heart of Basingstoke who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly accounts department.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, the position will be responsible for a variety of accounts payable and accounts receivable duties as well as month end. Key tasks include;
- Processing invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier payment runs
- Cash payment allocations
- Raising sales invoices
- Staff expenses
- Petty cash
- Credit card payments
The desired candidate will have general accounts experience covering sales ledger/ purchase ledger and banking. The role requires a hands on individual who enjoys working as part of a team and has good communication skills. Prior knowledge of Sage would be desirable but not essential.
Car parking is available onsite and company are situated close to public transport links.
