Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting for a fantastic new Accounts Assistant opportunity in Reading. Our client is a leading technology organisation which has an international reach and are continuing to expand its UK presence.
Reporting the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for the following duties:
- Cash payment allocations
- Contacting customers in relation to payments and invoice queries
- Raising sales invoices and sending out to customers
- Account reconciliations
- Resolving invoice queries
- Sending out customer statements
The successful candidate will have some prior knowledge of sales ledger/ accounts receivable ideally from a fast paced and busy finance environment. Candidates who have strong communication skills and attention to detail is essential.
Candidates who are available at short notice would be preferred for this initial 6 month contract (with potential longer term opportunity to be made permanent).
The company are offering hybrid remote and office based working and have free car parking available onsite.
