Our client is a fast-paced Financial Services organisation located in the centre of Bristol. Established within the last decade by a passionate investment group, seeing year on year growth to both revenue and personnel, a newly created position has been designed for an experienced and ambitious Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Financial Controller, looking for an exciting and dynamic role within a growing and award-winning investment management company with excellent exposure to all areas of a finance function.
This role will work closely to support the Head of Finance in the deliverence of oversight in the finance function. You will develop the financial control framework and ensure strict adherence to the risk and control function and make necessary improvements. Key responsibilities for this self-motivated individual include:

  • Responsible for the delivery of financial management information to the Head of Finance and board
  • Delivery of the Pricing Policy through the implementation of a robust and auditable approach for the reallocation of direct, indirect and overhead costs to the relevant centres
  • Maintain control of the financial accounting framework in line with its control environment
  • Responsible for the financial administration of their financial system (Netsuite)
  • Responsible for the reporting of the capital and liquidity position and provide updates to ICAAP / ICARA
  • Monthly reporting of all Management Information and KPI's
  • Managing 3 direct reports
About YOU
  • The successful applicant will either be fully qualified in ACA/ACCA or CIMA with extensive post qualification experience (10+ years)
  • Experience working within an FCA-regulated financial services environment is preferred 
  • Excellent technical capabilities and an eye for detail will be required to meet strict internal and external compliance, and your ability to build rapport with the business and create a business partnering mentality will be essential
  • Experience in developing and leading a successful team is also a key requirement of this exciting role
