Sheridan Maine are partnering with a leading international organisation, based in the Southampton area, to recruit an Interim Systems Project Accountant on a 9- 12 months basis, either on a fixed term contract or as a day rate interim contractor. This is an immediate opportunity!
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be actively involved in the new systems implementation project. This could also include will include providing some cover for business as usual duties as staff are also seconded onto the project, although you will be mainly involved with "change" activities. Ideally you will possess a broad suite of financial skills and experience across financial and management accounting as well as analytical and budgeting/forecasting activities.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has proven experience of working as part of a project team to sucessfully deliver accounting systems implementations. Experience specifically of using and ideally implementing Oracle would be highly advantageous. The ability to communicate at all levels and to work as part of a team to deliver results, under time pressure, is essential for success in this role.
